We love our home in Belize! But with our oldest son serving the US Army in Iraq and three school age children at home in the United States, it is difficult to travel back to our second home.
I have decided to place our property up for sale, allowing us to spend the time needed in the US as a complete family. Our loss is your gain! I hope whoever purchases this exquisite property will have the same love and passion we have for the Peninsula and the warm turquoise waters. - Cindy DeMarks

Happy New Year to all! We have cut the canal on the lagoon side of the property. The site pads for the lots have been marked along the new canal and we are ready to begin the next phase.
There are some new photos for you to see this Exquisite Caribbean Property and the bright blue waters of the Canal leading into the Lagoon. We already have fish in the canal and we are very excited to see things coming together so beautifully.
More and more people are traveling to Belize to see this great country and experience some of it's natural beauty. If you are planning a trip, we can help you make the most of your experience. We can suggest some places to see and help make your trip a most memorable one. So please contact us should you have any questions.
There was a great article in the December 2007 issue of International Living. If you are interested in buying in Belize I recommend this article.
The Europeans will be having direct flights to Belize City by the end of 2008. This will bring more people to this country. A couple of large well known Hotel Chains that have purchased islands and they will begin building. Belize is really becoming a well known country and building up. So much talk about Belize becoming the next Maya Rivera.
October 2007
There is a casino being built on False Caye which is approximately amile off our beach front property.
The construction of this casino is set to start on November 7, 2007.
There is also another casino planned to be constructed 5 miles north of our property. These additions to the Peninsula make your unit on the Caribbean very valuable.
September 2007
The property has been cleared from the Caribbean Sea to the Lagoon. We are waiting the final site plan from our Architect. We have applied for the permits to cut the Mangroves,
reserve acquistion, two piers on the Lagoon and one on the Caribbean Sea and the canal boat basin; all should be forth coming this month. Slowly but surely we are moving forward with this
great project. Tourist season is right around the corner, we hope to have a good portion of this phase done at that time but you just never know. Be sure to check out the photos to see
our progress.
More to come in October.
August 2007
In an odd twist of fate Hurricane Dean arrived in Belize the same time Dean is there. Good Fortune was at hand because there was NO Damage to the Peninsula or our property.
Thank you to all our friends and family for their concern and well wishes. We are happy to report all is Well and Fine.
July 2007
This is an exciting month for us! The Sales Office/House has been completed and we are ready to start the next phase. We are building the Butterfly Bush Bar and Cabanas
along the Lagoon. We will have a wonderful Restaurant Bar appropriately named the Butterfly Bush Bar set above the Lagoon waters, allowing our guest to watch the sea life and enjoy
the sunsets. Just travel down the landscaped path and stop to see our Butterfly Garden, something you won't want to miss. The Restaurant will consist of Guarifuno and Creole
traditional foods. We are adding a wonderful pool oasis complete with slide and natural rock formations to help you cool off and relax. Finally we'll have some lovely Cabanas
to rent on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis. We will not be destroying any of the Mangroves for this project as it is very important to us
to preserve the natural beauty of this country. This should all be complete in the next several months. The children and I will be joining Dean the end of August for some summer
fun before the children start school. Hope to see you there!

Dean had an excellent trip and all his meetings went very well. He recently returned back home and was very encouraged. We are now waiting for the final pricing from the contractors.
The pre-cast concrete friction pile driving will start approximately June 21, 2007. The property has been cleaned up and ready to start construction. The architect finished the final drawings.
Ernest has finished our signs and they will be on the property in a couple of days. We have added a few new photos of this beautiful beachfront property for you to see. Remember the real thing
is so much better!

We took the kids to Belize for Spring Break. It was a wonderful time for all of us. No one wanted to go home when our 10 day trip ended. The kids had such a great time, fishing,
snorkeling and making long lasting friendships with the locals. The kids are looking forward to the end of the school year so they can come back to Belize. I hope you will consider traveling
to Belize and finding out for yourself what a wonderful Country it is and see all they have to offer. We can't say enough about it... |
