Belize is wedged
between Guatemala and the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
Belize is a sliver of land on the Caribbean Sea. It
is only 68 miles wide at its broadest point. Belize
is only a two hour flight from Miami, Atlanta, Houston
and Dallas. A four and half hour flight from New York/New
Jersey and five hours from Toronto.
The Placencia Peninsula is a three hour drive along
the western highway with a stunning view of the countryside
and landscape. Or if you prefer, take a quick flight
on one the hopper planes from Belize City. Both Tropic
Air and Maya Island Air fly to Placencia with more than
20 flights daily.

everywhere.

Belize enjoys a subtropical climate; somewhat similar

lasting approximately from late November through June.
They are on Central Time but do not observe Daylight

in Central America.
Come and explore some of the 400 cayes. Spend the day
fishing for tarpon, permit, bonefish and snook. Or go
off-shore for marlin, wahoo and tuna. Take a drive into
the Maya Mountains, explore some of the caves or go
horseback riding through the lush tropical jungle. Who
knows, you may even spot a jaguar. Go back in time and
explore one of the 600 Mayan Ruins. Enjoy a lazy afternoon
boat ride up Monkey River to discover a colorful world
of birds, hundred of butterfly species and Howler Monkeys.
If that doesn’t interest you then swim with the
whale sharks, snorkel the second largest Barrier Reef
in the world or dive the blue hole. Belize has something
for everyone. Once you have visited, you’ll want
to come back again and again.
Now is the time to invest in owning your own piece
of paradise! Whether is a vacation home, private weekend
getaway or investment property, you can’t go wrong.
Belize is one of the fastest growing tourist areas in
the entire Caribbean.
Gary Brengle, 20 year resident of Placencia, said it
best “the one thing God ain’t making any
more of is this land!” |
